free program for Osteo-Arthritis! I will be getting X-rays for my right knee, blood tests, and if I am accepted into the program, I will be getting shots in my hip and, hopefully, help me not to hurt so much from old Arthur! It is completely free, but have to go every two weeks for a while and then about every two months for the shots! What it is about: The med has been approved by the FDA already, but they don't know what amount of med they should use for beginning! They either have 2----5----10 and no one in the program knows which they are taking! They have to check for allergies, blood pressure and etc. to see that nothing is wrong with me taking the shots! If it will help, I sure will be HAPPY! I also get paid when I start the shots and I can opt out any time I want to.....soooo I will see how this goes! Prayers for God to watch over and take care of me that nothing really serious happens!

My blood pressure is still low.....was 116/66 and that may be one reason I am tired most of the time, but dr wasn't worried about it and said I have the blood pressure of a teenager and I told him, Well, I sure don't feel like a teenager! May God Bless! Ma Betty

I sure hope this helps, Ma. I certainly know all about the pain of arthritis and fibromyalgia. I have A LOT of VERY painful days. My blood pressure is always low too. Usually around 110/60, and yes, I am tired a lot too. But, I am almost NEVER sick!!! That's a PLUS!!! Keep me up to date on how you're doing on the program.

Lisa

I will pray for wisdom, and direction for you on this matter!

Hope all works out for you . Will keep you in my prayers.

if it helps and is free so much the better.

Thanks everyone for your prayers and, yes, I'm praying too, as I don't want to be a guiney pig and get more sicker than I am! But the way they do it, sounds like they are very careful to do it right.....I wont know what dosage I will get in the shot, as that is what they're trying to find out to know which is best to start beginning to produce the meds for other arthritic patients!

My dr. won't do any studies that are not okayed by the FDA first....I wouldn't want to do that, as I'm not an animal to be disposed of or have more problems the rest of my life however long that is! Dr. Vaid is one of the drs who will do these for medical studies! Sooo, Pete, you and Sherry will need to find a dr or ask yours about this program! I hope both of us can improve from taking these shots when accepted into the program....I haven't been accepted as yet, because I have to be x-rayed and my blood tested and then proceed from there!

Again, please keep Tami and Troy in your prayers and our financial needs and Thank you, always, for your prayers! God knows our needs before we ask, but He wants us to ask and then Thank Him for His loving answers whether Yes or No, for He knows what is best for all of us! May God Bless! Amen! Ma Betty
