...In Church Council where Im a member.Me and 2 other members whose terms were up at the end of '08 said YES!!! to signing up for another 3-I have to say I am glad we all agreed to do this;because a certain individual -whom belongs to our church -would have been nominated-Im not going into details;but my wife and I have had dealings with him in the past;and I felt VERY STRONGLY he should NEVER be considered for such a position in our Church;as he is self-serving,a user,and two-faced as the day is long....AND I told council a LONG time ago if he is ever elected to council;I will resign immediately;because he would be "conquering and dividing"for his own selfish gains-I believe his motivation is not THE LORD;but the other one...:thumbdown::(:unsure:

We have been down that road! We left our life long church because of people like you mention!
 
seems like there is one or two of those types every where you go.there maybe a reason in Gods plan for them to be there.who knows
