I Spent My Holiday Weekend...........

Cutting fire wood! I had dreams of spending my three day weekend metal detecting, but, My father in law had some trees cut down in his back yard and wanted me to come get the wood. We put in a wood stove last year when fuel oil hit $4.00 a gallon. So, I couldn't pass up all this free locust, cherry and ash.

That will keep you warm this winter, you will be glad you got it now insead of having to work it up then.:super:

Too bad its cut up. Locust makes great, rot resistant fence posts.

Anyway, no chunk of cold, grungy metal will warm you this winter like that wood. Good work, done.

That's a lot of work Oakman but well worth it! Will keep your tootsies warm in the winter!!

Boy a lot of guys on the primitive archer sit would liked to got to you befor it was cut so short. To short for a bow , All of it good wood to make a bow.

DON'T KNOW HOW MUCH YOU GOT THERE , IT IS SELLING FOR A $115.00 A TUCK LOAD HERE IN IOWA.:surprised:

It's probably a little over a full cord but, I haven't cut any all summer so I couldn't just so no. I figure I just saved myself a lot of money on fuel oil though.
