I tried out the 8" coil on the Quattro, and it's a might easier to pinpoint with..............

I learned my Sov with the 8 inch coil so I know what you mean 
. The 10 doesn't find that much more on land so I keep it on when I hit the beach.

hang of pinpointing with the 10" so I will mostlikely switch back & forth.
must in the trash....I guarantee that if you will try a 5" coil, your finds will go up.... The only time I use a 10", is relic hunting..best to you, Richardntn
