what do everyone else think about them .or if they have had any problems, ect . i would love to hear from anyone for a chat about this before i buy one from the salesman lol.:twodetecting:

Ity depends on what you want to spend, and what you want to find.
If you want the best coin/relic machine I say get the ExplorerII. You ARE asking oppinions and your in the Ex forum LOL

The Mine lab Explorer 2, hands down. If you can afford the hefty price of this machine, It is the best detector on the market today. Some advice about Iron infested areas, Do not believe the ferrous content over the conductivity content unless the area is clean with little iron. The reason I say this is because a friend of mine bought the explorer 2 and we took it down to the oldest park in Fargo, N.D.(Island Park). We compared readings between explorer XS (what I use) and his new explorer 2 and what his machine told him was the targets I located were Iron targets, not good targets. We'll he sure got a bit angry when I dug them and they turned out to be a 1912 Canadian dime in EF condition and a Indian Head Penny. Soon after he sold the machine and bought another XS(since this was what he was using before). I'm one of the top detectorists in my club "Minnkota Artifact Recovery Group". So, If you can afford this machine, buy it because you will not be missing what the other detectorists are passing up.
