I went out for a hunt yesterday and ended up being a penny popping fool.............not by choice........I'd rather be popping................uh...............dollars but that's how the chips fall sometimes. I also found a key and an old marble. I ended up finding 46 pennies. I found 54 coins for $1.31.

I'm a treasure hunter. Hogs are good for sniffing out truffels................and they make good bacon also.

Hey....That's a niche most people avoid, and that's where I get a lot of my rings and silver coins. Of course, compared to your usual hunts, this one is pretty dismal

And that is why I went back to coin mode. I did hunt a lot in custom with only 4 notches from the right and nickel. I get tired of popping them but:
A. They add to the coin count
B. 100 makes a dollar
B. Who knows what I was missing

i have had my 2500 for just over a year and i have not dug a thing with it yet. usually i just find stuff on the surface while i am out using it. i think that it is because there is not allot of places in vegas our southern nevada to go out with a metal detector and shoot coins. i feel that most of the action around here is cache. i don't have 4wd vehicle so i can't get back to the old ghost towns like i want. but my vw jetts does get 32mpg city/42 hwy.

wish i could go out and find wheaties like you guys.
