I have an Explorer SE that I just got. It came with the ESP warranty. Well in the midst of my excitement putting it together I took that shiny ESP warranty decal and put it on the back of the metal ESP key chain token.
It was then that I read the fine print on the ESP warranty card that said to be sure that the ESP warranty decal is secured to the side of the detector control box. Well once I peeled the decal off the token and put it on the SE control box I noticed that the upper left corner is a little frayed. I was wondering if this will void my ESP warranty?
Before I sent the warranty info card out to minelab I made sure to see if anything was written that said the ESP warranty would be voided if the ESP decal wasn't secured to the side of the control box. I found no such statement on the warranty info card. It just said to make sure the decal is on the box so the service department can identify the detector as having an ESP warranty. I wasn't sure if the ESP decal is like the searchcoil serial # decal which clearly states "void if removed" I know this seems a little paranoid and maybe it is..........LOL But I would appreciate an answer very much.
Thanks so much in advance for a response.
