Do you get a vdi reading when in the all metal mode ? I know...it's wishful thinking.

Hi Dan,

Yes, you get a vdi reading in the all metal mode. The all metal mode also incorporates the VCO audio feature so you get some idea of depth of your target without having to use the pinpoint feature.

The all metal mode will detect deeper than it can identify a target.

would leave information like this out of the manual, also, the frequency shift option. If it were me, I'd list every feature and benefit of a new machine that it had to offer. But, that's just my opinion.
