..after I posted my finds earlier. My wife and kids took off, whats a guy to do? Go metal detecting thats what. <img src="/metal/html/smile.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":)">
I went to an old park about 18 miles west of me. I have found some Indians and silver there in the past but wasnt expecting this find. She was down 8-9 inches. Sounded off good but the crosshairs were pegging in the far upper corner like iron does. Sounded right though. Once I had the probe near her it pegged where a large cent usually does.

Just out of curiosity, about where does a large cent peg on the visual?..I havent been fortunate enough to find one yet, but I cant wait..Thanks..Chris

Most of the time for me anyway. They peg around where a quarter will. I have had one peg like a penny once and this most recent one like I described in the post. Its a nice loud repeatable signal. You'll dig one if you go over one. Just keep pluggin.
