For me, the only mystery is whats up with the mini coil...i!?!?!

It would seem that they might be setting up and reading two discreet fields one for bigger/ deeper and one for smaller/shallower like the tiny critter in the Garrett video.
I think ...How they would go about isolating these different fields and readings etc. would make interesting details.

Anyone know anything about the 'Mini Coil' and how it's used ??
