He has done to fulfill the latest desire of my heart! As most of you know I sold my house in Cuba, MO, that I had purchased in May of 2008 and then closed on in Sept. My brother, Cliff and I, went down in OCT and spent the night! The last time we would be down there, although we had planned to start moving into it by November! Alas, my brother was getting more ill, and before the winter was over, he became very ill and was going back and forth to the hospitals and the drs. Primary and Pulmonary! He was diagnosed to have Pulmonary Hypertension a fatal disease! He passed away in Aug 2009! Since I am ill, also, and getting more difficult to do anything, I decided to try and sell the Cuba house but at a price that I would at least get back what I paid for it! A young couple has a contract on it and it has gone through easily and they want to close next week and I plan to meet them in Cuba for the closing!
The desire of my heart was that I was hoping and thinking how nice it would be to close by the end of April, so I would have the money to pay my May mortgage payment and other bills without having to withdraw money from my IRA! Jane, my real estate lady, called me tonight and said the couple wanted to close as soon as they can and be able to move into the house, I guess before May's rent is due! Works out for all of us and the sooner I get the money, the sooner I can get some payments paid off and not have them due each month!
Jane also gave me a compliment, she said I brought her good luck in her working in realty, because since working with me she has been doing good and even this year, she said I have helped her do good in listings.....she has several now and one closing, mine! When corresponding with her, I would say, May God Bless and let her know that I prayed and hoped everything would go well with her health, work, the family and the Century21Friends Real Estate Company! Made me feel good to know I have helped to bless and encourage her!
God is so good to me and I give Him praise and glory in all things! In the good times and in the trying times, for life has its ups and downs, but more ups than downs with Jesus, as my Lord and Savior, Who is my All in all! May God Bless! Amen!
