id excel coils ?

Just wanted to know if ther was a bigger coil for the id excel. I have the stock 8 and would love a 10 or something. Can a id edge coil work or will it need to be modded to work?
 
No there was never a bigger coil made, unless some outside company made one I'm unaware of....
The stock coil is still a really good all around coil for most any application. I still love to use mine in trashy sites.....

im with you there. its great for that style hunting. I don't know if your remember but about 3 years ago i did the straight shaft mod to my cz6a and put the trigger pinpoint on it. I was using the cz6a at an old fair grounds and the trash was crazy so i got the id-excel and used it there. That weekend was my best ever. The excel blowed the cz away in the trash. Hey thanks Bill L. Just wanted to see about coils.

here is what that weekend netted me. No clads that weekend :clapping:.
 
Yea, I think I remember that, because after years of using a trigger on a 1266x, I really missed one when I began using the coinstrike & was jealous of yours :) I still have my original CZ-6 downstairs, & any CZ is still a great, deep coin hunter well worth keeping around. Then use your Excel in the iron...
You got an EXCELlent 1-2 punch there.....keep up the great finds.
