Well, it's a pendant...but you already knew that. 
The guy on it is Hermes, the greek messenger god. Also known as Mercury by the Romans. In the mythology, he's the father of Priapus, who is the god of..well....let's just say viagra. Look him up on wikipedia and you'll understand what I mean.
