Idea for my MXT

I have a XLT and a MXT and I was thinking the MXT is a all purpose detector but what if Whites would have put a switch on it to switch between 3 Khz and 14 KHz.What you think?

Great idea! Have a switch on the MXT, 3khz - 15khz - or both at the same time. Wonder if modifications can be done to do this.
