If I was looking for a Garrett Ace 250 with

What should I look to spend
Looking for something 8 out of a 10.

Wow 54 hits and no one has any idea what an Ace and coils would go for.
If someone else was selling this and i was buying what would you ask ?
Really a shame I can't get a reply.
This is the Garrett forum isn't it ?
Have an Xterra and already got an idea..

You might find the answer by looking on the big auction site, or at least

some idea of the going rate of a good used Ace 250 with the extras.

Well most of us could give a close estimate on the 250. All of the extra coils are hard to estimate. Someone just wanting to get rid of a coil may sell it a 30% cost but I think you may have to pay near full cost for the extra coils.

The Ace 250 with standard cooil is $212, so if the machine is still in good
shape you might get $80 to $100 for it. The extra coils? What shape are they in.
Just see what they cost new and ask for half of that.

8 out of 10 would be used. How much easier can it get. You don't need to read my mind for the answer.
Plus all I'm trying to do is get a price so I can sell mine.
Just not into it anymore..

Your initial post asked the the question "what should I look to spend?" Not trying to be a jerk but I also thought you were in the market to buy equipment, not sell........Sorry......... I misunderstood your initial post as I too had looked at it but was unable to come up with what would be a fair price. I suppose a person could look at some of the auction web sites and a general idea of what a combo like this would/could be sold for. I hope this helps and wish you luck in selling your equipment.

Interesting enough, I have exactly what you have described. Clean 250, all 3 coils and rain bonnet.
I guess if I was goin to put mine on the market I would price it at 325.00.
