If the G2 can use the Omega coils Teknetics ought to be able to give us a Dual frequency machine

just give us a switch to choose which freq we want to hunt with ? How awesome would that be:surprised: I would love to be able to switch freq's on the fly for target comparisons..and different plans of attack on a site:thumbup:

It should be doable I wouldnt care about the dual freq running at the same time just let me choose ........heck might even be able to slide a harmonic freq in the middle around 13-14 KHZ..........?

Keep it under a grand --- Yeah right!!!

You would think there would be a way to make a less expensive dual frequency machine with the option to use the lower, higher or both frequencies. I think Teknetics has been successful with the lower cost Omega 8000 and it would be good marketing to have a lower cost multi frequency machine for those that require it (due to bad earth or what not.).

I think it would just require a bit of ingenuity, which they seem to have. They could use the same basic model as Intel and AMD use with their chips. You create a great and fully functioning chip (analogy would be a multi frequency detector) and then just turn off options (frequencies, power, sensitivity, etc.) as the chip manufacturers do in their chips. Fewer chip varieties (in their detectors detectors) allow for lower production costs I believe.
