If you are running Yahoo Messenger - run a virus/spyware check

Every morning my computer runs ZoneAlarm spyware and virus check at 8:30. I get the usual cookies like Mediaplex and get them deleted. This morning a Trojan appeared in with Yahoo Messenger. Here are the pics I took of my screen so you can see what I am talking about.

There are 2 pics so it covers that lower section so all the data is there.

Be sure to spyware/virus check your system. I will be sending this info to Yahoo. In the meantime, I am uninstalling my Yahoo Messenger to get it and any other programs off my computer that this trojan might use.

Interesting Pete. My daughter uses Yahoo messenger too and last night my computer was running real slow and I only had two programs open. I noticed Yahoo messenger was running and exited the program and the running speed was back to normal. My software does an auto scan at 1am and 8am and it's amazing how many virus' it finds and I know they are from the messaging services and also from Myspace, another of Sarah's favorite sites.

The test results from last night found 61 threats, mostly tracking cookies!!
