If you don't ask, the answer is always NO

I keep on telling everyone this, and it is amazing how it does not sink in...I asked to search a yard not long ago....too late, three feet of soil removed from the major portion...Found out who owned the house next door, and asked..That portion of yard goes back to the 1805 start of town days, Present owner there over 50 years.May be a trash pit, may not..But, I asked and the reply was YAS, but call first.....Nice day, going tonight...Maybe a bust or flowing hair???? Hope ahope, ahope....................Even at 74, I dream....................

KVM, Two weeks ago on the phone you said "if you don't ask the answer is always no". A few days later driving past an old farm I turned my car around and knocked on the door. The woman said OK with her but need to ask her husband. He said sure you could search the corn fields. He also showed me a cellar hole in the woods behind his property. Searched his property 3 times. Found only 1 U.S large penny, 1 toasted IH, and 2 King Georges. Didn't find any silver but it was great fun searching virgin territory. Thanks for the tip.
