If you had a choice would you choose a 15 inch WOT or a Platypus coil for an Explorer 2 - and why?

I would most likely choose the Platypus over the WOT Coil. The Platypus Coil is a heck of a lot lighter than the WOT Coil is and just feels better to swing with. Rick(ND) has one and I tried swinging the Platypus and I did it with ease. A friend of mine (Terry Shannon) has a WOT Coil and I tried using it but it sure takes a lot out of your arm if you are like me and go detecting for a complete day. I know you can get the Swingy Thingy for your detector, but I still would choose the Platypus Coil over the WOT Coil. The WOT Coil would get masked from the Iron objects in the ground I would think (because of it's size) while the Platypus Coil would be able to get between trash better since it is oval shaped. Hope this helps.
