A outstanding buyer/seller is banned from his livelyhood because of a pink Ebay moderator ! absurd ! a 100 k company !
Here is a copy posted on another forum.....
Plasmaco just got whacked by ebay BIG TIME.
I got this letter from him;
Well, it looks like I crapped in places I shouldn't have. Either that, or I am an axe murderer. It's one lesson I won't forget for quite a long time... sigh... Tought I let you know what can happen in la-la-land...
Looks like my little thread opening / closing antics in my disagreement with some fanatics are very badly received at eBay. In twenty minutes time all these things happened.
I got a post pulled where I had the offending code.
Same minute I was indefinitely suspended from posting on the forums for "Site Interference"
In two minute intervals they suspended indefinitely my main (plasmaco) account, and 5 other accounts I had (2 inactive, I even forgot about having them)
They also suspended indefinitely my dad's business (buying only) account, two of my brother's accounts, 3 of my sister's accounts, and my ex-stepmother's account who I haven't even seen since Christmas...
And a couple of friends also sent me "WTF, dude ????" emails...
At last count we are up to 17 permanently blocked accounts, with all listings pulled, bids cancelled, all stores closed, all Me pages erased, the works. Everyone who ever signed in from my computer, and everyone whose computer I ever used to sign in is suspended.
All together those accouns traded more than $100,000 a year, so you can guess the final value fees generated for eBay...
I jumped on the Live Chat, they told me to call. I called, the guy said that "Site Interference" was one of the worst offences, and I was booted off eBay "forever". At this point neither of us knew what was up, nobody could tell me exactly what the site interference actually was that caused this massacre, the emails from "Discussion policy violations" from Liveworld went to the Spam folder, I only saw them after... So he said to reply to the Message I got, which I did. I also forwarded the message and my reply to Vincenzo, who wrote back that he forwarded it to Kalvin, with whoom I can "discuss this mess"...
At this point, I'm still waiting for a reply from anyone...
If you are interested as to what was that most malicious code, it was a simple ages old HTML tag, < noframes >. It stops the browser from loading any more text that are in different frames, that's why the right side eBay Announcement and whatever never showed when I 'closed' that blasted thread. To open it again the tag is < /noframes >
So, there, I learned my lesson. No matter how right or wrong I think I am, eBay is dumb and blind and everyone must obey.
And to think that Dexmor threatened the life of WoodstockLady, and her kid, and while he did get booted off the forums after years of threatening people and pissing them off, he still is a registered member...
Can you please spread the word to whomever you see fit, as I have no more acces to Contact member links...
My apologies for the intrusion...
Thanks, and hope I see you soon if this ever gets worked out.
Rather extreme punishment, I would say.
