And which tone number is your favorite? Or do most of you's just use it on the default tone setting? I think is # 3.
After I've been using the Scorpion awhile and the Infinium ALOT. I just love the tones of those machines. So back to my GTI 2500 I always have adjusted the tones on it to please my ears. I wondered why I did this.
I realized after using the ANOLOG Scorpion machine that the tone is pleasant to me, because it is analog. The tones on the GTI-GTP are digital tones which can be harsh sounding after awhile, especially in all metal.
So for years my favorite tone # on the 2500 was set at 9. I might adjust it but it always went back to 9. But lately I have set it on 10.5 which is very high and the high tone is the same as the high tone on the Infinium.
But this digital tone in all metal, which i use mostly, gets on my nerves after a while, so I tried 6, and it is very pleasant and sounds more analog. The tones in disc mode are so short it doesnt bother me as much.
I use the all metal mode so much maybe that is why I do this. Also because the ground here in Oregon is hotter than in Georgia is maybe also why I notice it more because it is more chatty.
How about you's out there? Do you do the same adjustments? There are many tone settings, I think it a great feature on these machines.
Ahhhh, a new year, and a new tone.
