Just got our phone back. Someone give a summery of all I missed since Katrina. Steve, I just got your message. See reply. We are all fine. Got a lot of roof damage, but we still have a house. Lots of our pretty trees are gone. The rest are pruned real well. All our creditors have been super, You know, the phone people, satellite people, bank and so on. Lots of monthly charges and payments have been excused. to help people get back on their feet. The only ones who aren't helping much (At all actually) are the insurance companies. Lots of changes here on the coast. Sure hope I can hit the beaches soon. :minelab::csflag::usaflag:

Been tempted to try it out. Don't know what people might think or do. I never thought I'd see the day when beaches would be lined with house trailers. The Jefferson Davis home is still there, but damaged badly. The Edgewater Mall was gutted. Haven't been to South Biloxi yet. The Ocean Springs reasearch lab is gone there on East beach.

glad you weathered the hurricanes with still having a house. Sorry you lost a lot of trees and may God bless you with a quick recovery for getting back on your feet soon! Hope you get to hunt the beaches and find lots of good stuff!

God Bless!

I was just askin' Mike if anyone had heard from you! It's been a long time and I was wondering how you were. Thank God everyone's OK and that the damage wasn't worse. Hope things can get back to normal for you very soon.

Re: the beach... I'd sure as heck give that a shot too!

Kinda figured insurance companies were a worthless lot. Never found one that did what they promised for the money given to them.

Glad the homestead didn't sustain more damage and you and the family are doing ok.
