I'll start posting an article every few days to help tame the doldrums of winter - or make it worse. HAA.

Hope you find that coin popping diagram, Bill. Enjoy all the articles, like the diagram a few weeks ago showing how even a 50% overlap could miss some deep targets or coins. It really helped me understand to overlap more and slow down my swing on the 2500. Don't remember who posted it, but like the old Ranger says: I need all the help I can get, also. I enjoy our Northern cousins articles and photos from Canada and Down Under, but I don't know what direction Australia is. And all the other local experts, we newbies appreciate your contributions, also! Plan to follow advice about taping up coil cable on shaft for better signal and see if that improves my detecting finds.

I posted the overlap diagram. Glad it helped out. One must realize that because you have an 8-9 inch coil on top of the ground you don't have a signal that size under the ground. Once you get it all figured out your finds will increase.
