My daughter in West Virginia is not doing well. The HMO that she was forced by Medicaid to take has denied her the operation she needs. I'll be going there for 5 days. They said that the surgeon didn't state that she has gastro-paresis and that the surgery is the only course of action for her. It's like 4 years now that she has been fighting with the medical community to find out what's wrong and then getting Medicaid because they don't have the finances to get insurance. Now there's a technicality and the Medicaid HMO decided she didn't need the surgery and there would be no appeal. Ripping my heart out.
Pete's wife Sherry is struggling and then there is little Brian. Bernie "gunswinger" and Joe G have been through the wringer also. Sister Betty and her brother Cliff aren't in good health. There tribulations throughout the family of God and I know I'm not alone with them. The great Sheppard is with me and "thy rod and thy staff comfort me". Strange words in that the rod was a small piece of wood usually with nails in it that the sheppard would use on the head of a sheep that wanted to stray. The staff is the longer piece of wood was what the Sheppard used on the sheep that were further away wanted to stray but the they didn't necessarily have the crook in the end that you see in pictures. I'll post when I can.

Glad to see ya.I was wondering if you being gone was something to do with your daughter. Your family is in my prayers.
 
Thanks Paul for the update on your daughter and family! I just can't believe that they okayed the surgery and now deny it. Keeps money in their own pockets. This ole world is full of sinful people who are greedy and say one thing and do another! Will be praying more for her and ask God to move by His Holy Spirit and work it all out for her good and for His purpose as we give Him the glory and praise in all things! May He perform a miracle on Michelle with or without the drs. and surgeons! Prayers for safe travelling too! Amen! :angel:
