Im back to walkin 2-3 miles daily-WHY??Well-

Ive been taking glucosamine tablets-3 a day,1500 mg's-for the last 2 weeks,I'd heard a lot of good things about it...WELL:I've quit taking my arthritis medication-that stuff was close to makin meuke:-I think it was somebody on here that clued me into it-Whoever it was,THANK YOU-I FEEL!!!im still thinkin of going up north day after Thanksgiving to detect 1400' of lovely sand beach in back of the hotels there.NAH-Im not takin my wet detector-A bit too chilly for water detecting then-If i did that,
Id look like Babe the Blue OX!!looks like im going to 1st shift Monday for the rest of the year...my wife and I will be home together EVERY NITE-THAT way,we can fight,or whatever...!!!

if I don't get a job or things pick up with Sherry's business, I might have to start walking instead of driving...especially since gas prices are way too high even if I was working.

Not saying I can't use the exercise...but everyone I know who has exercised got hurt...gee I get hurt and don't exercise. Wonder how much worse off I'd be if I exercised????

With the problem I've been having with my shoulder and nothing helping, I thought I'd try the glucosamine / condroitin thing. After I bought it, I started searching some medical sites with studies, etc. Basically, they all said it was a bunch of bunk. "Studies" lauding the benefits are not really valid. In addition, there's no "standards" for purity. You really don't know what you're getting from brand to brand. Prices are ridiculous too. 110 pills (supposed to take 6 daily) cost over 20 bucks. Another brand, for the same amount cost double that! Somebody's makin' a lot of money

I was able to quit takin my almost -makes - me- puke arthitis medication-I paid 57.00 for 6 MONTHS supply from Puritans Pride-500 mg,3 pills a day.If its all in my head the benefits Im gettin from this;oh well....... Mental or physical,im feelin better,thats all that counts!!...

like herbs and over the counter stuff...when they can tell ya you need a prescription drug that costs $$$$ because that is what the pill pushing companies are giving the docs as freebies to pass out.

I have glaucoma and the eye drops the doc gave me were samples. My family doctor gaqve me a prescription for it even though she isn't an eye doctor...the brand name 'sample' she put on the prescription...its $115 a bottle! and no off brand or other replacement. I bet if I check my herbal computer program or on line I can find something a lot less expensive and does the same thing. JMHO.
