in the morning my brother, nephew and I are heading for the west side of the Cascades for a day of blackpowder elk hunting below White pass in the fresh snow. They've never been there so I'll be playing guide sort of
Hiking straight up and straighter up should burn a couple calories (huff....puff), maybe I can rent a helicopter to drop me off on top and I can ski back down...blasting away like James Bond
I can see it now.....boom..boom...shoosh..shoosh...boom...oh crap, tree..splat Ok, maybe I'll just stay by the truck and keep the hot chocolate and brandy ready
