I'm Really Liking The T2SE/Sharpshooter Combination :teknetics:

It's a lot better than my Omega. It runs quieter and goes deeper for silver. Also it hits a whole lot harder on nickels, bullets and gold rings. It has all the good traits of the Omega and G2 but with more kick. I hit another local park today and found plenty of deep clad. I was getting a solid ID on dimes 7+ inches deep. I'm finding a lot of coins on edge. If I get the coil anywhere near a coin it screams out with a crisp high tone. Deep coins sound like they're near the surface. I'm going to start hunting some of the older parts of town. I know this detector/coil combination will bring some silver coins to the surface. I'm running 3 tones, discrimination 10 and 90 on the sensitivity. I ended up finding 41 pennies, 22 quarters, 1 half dollar, 25 dimes and 15 nickels. It's been awhile since I have found a silver ring and I was out there thinking it's about time for one. I got a loud high tone with a 91 ID reading. I was thinking quarter all the way. Nope, I popped a nice hefty sterling ring that was around 5 inches deep.

Did I mention that I really like this new coil a lot?:)

Wow, nice score!

nice coin count and congrats on the ring, one of those coils would probably work well on my Omega but I just can't stand that style of coil.

If the coin is not too deep with the head side up, I can even tell when it was minted.

Seriously, even the high tone tells me a lot with my Tesoro trained ears.:)

Tab thanks for the report as i am thinking of getting the sharpshooter for the Vaquero, I have seen consistent good talk on that coil on several different machines now ,
