I think what happens is I learn one - its strong/weak points then when I come across a situation then I know which one to grab currently learning the Russian detectors and its a challenge to say the least but time will tell with those although they have pulled some goodies out of hunted out spots so yeah time and learning which one to use where.

Trashfinder said:Very Vague! I hope they do not have a case, i would like to think many machines in the future could be updated by simply downloading the new code from a website. Flagship detectors from here out will be like cell phones where you can update the operating system software via computer, once this lawsuit is settled we will see the First Texas machine that was promised last year, the Impact, and the new XP software. If minelab wins then these other companies will have to pay a fee to have this ability and it will affect the price of the machines, and that is why nothing is being released at this time because pricing cannot be firmed up. Just my opinion , do not know this for a fact but it makes a lot of sense why nothing that was promised last year has been delivered yet.
