Yes, Warthog; I live 15-20 minutes from most of the beaches I detect at. I live not far from New Haven, Ct. close to Long Island Sound. I manage to go detecting almost every day...for 3-4 hours...I need the exercise and fresh air.... the housework can wait ( and it does!) I love this hobby!
