it has no merit. First is that the woman who filed the complaint read that Ad in a "Christian" Church. How could she complain about an ad requesting a Christian room mate that was placed in a Christian Church if she did not actually physically go into that Christian Church in the first place. Second is that if this was enforced it could mean that you could not reject having a murderer, child molestor, thief etc. as your room mate. That if you did they could sue you to. This case will be dismissed. For that matter the woman who Posted that ad would in effect have her own Civil Rights violated because she Posted that ad in a Church that exists solely for Christian Worship. If this case passed then you could find yourself being arrested or charrged just for simply praying in Church or you could find yourself holding Service in a Christian Church for Muslims, Buddhists etc.. There would in effect be no more such thing as Separation of Church and State. It would be anarchy of the highest order. I also do have Faith that judges today do have and use Common Sense. So I would not worry about it. But just for curiousities sake keep us informed on it. It should be very interesting. PEACE:RONB
 
I guess the next thing we cannot do is advertise for a Christian husband or wife in the Personal Ads but tell us if a man or woman of any faith whether Muslim, a thief, Child Molestors (who love to live with a woman with young children) murderer or of any other persuasion would want to marry a certain person than we would forced to do so??? Remember, this is the Muslim's Sharia Law, which they want to force on Americans, so get out and vote for Conservatives and Righteous men and women for our Nation's Leaders on Nov 2nd or lose our freedoms completely in the next two years or more! Amen! Pray for God to Intercede for His people's benefit, as prayers are heard and answered when we pray in faith and do not doubt that God is our All in all in Jesus' name! Amen!

I am hoping for dismissal as well. This has become one messed up nation since God has be shoved out of almost everything. Glad we are in this world and not of it. Thanks Ron for the reply.
 
If people want I will be glad to expound on why it will be dismissed. First is that the lady who filed the complaint is in fact violating the civil rights of the woman who placed the ad 'INSIDE" the CHRISTIAN Church as wwell a the Civil Rights of the Church and it's Congregation as well. So relax guys ok. There are about 7 other points I can make in just simply skimmingover the story itself but won't right now. Until later; PEACE:RONB
 
Ron is basicly right on this. The fact of the matter is that if I want a roommate to live in a house that I am inhabiting and will continue to inhabit I can discriminate for any reason I choose. This point has been upheld in courts in the past. You may not -- or must be carefull of how you disc out people for a single family dwelling that you do not occupy.. The same basic rules apply for employment and you may discriminate out people who do not "fit" into your business. You may end up having to defend your decision in court though.

If any of these are based soley on race you will propbably loose and rightly so.

Yes, I too believe it will be struck down, but as long as the Administration we have in Gov't offices, we will have to be vigilant on these cases and pray that they do get thrown out of court for being frivolos! We have Muslims in office and they want to live under the Sharia Law which isn't good for anyone, especially women and children! To be aware and remain aware of what is going on and what laws are being forced upon the people without our consent is better than remaining asleep, as many have done! Apathy is really bad in our nation and unless we all wake up....the present evil will remain in office and go against the U.S. Constitution with more ungodly judges being appointed into the courts of jurisdiction! May God have mercy upon America and we who are His own and Patriotic Citizens! Amen! :angel: Ma Betty
