In response to Bryce's Post................. "My Integrity"

Elton

New member
I think it is a real shame that a person of Bryce's Character & Integrity should be placed in a position where he has to explain his Pics, his finds, and his character.

Bryce is one of the most honest people I have had the pleasure to deal with, and share a forum with. Here and another forum.

His integrity is above reproach. Period .

Bryce..you keep finding those great finds, and posting them here my friend. We know you find them.
While I am at it. Let me say this too. Bryce Brown is there for all of us anytime we need his help. He goes above and beyond anytime he is asked for help.

He is good at what he does, he's exceptional with the Minelabs, and I for one look forward to seeing and reading of his detecting experiences.

I also would like to compliment Guvner for his post the other day defending Bryce.. Not many Forum owners would step up like that.. Bravo Guv..

Thank you Bryce for all you do, and all I know you will continue to do for the Forum, and the Hobby.

Respectfully,
EL

Agreed. And honestly who has the time and energy to sit around and think up stuff like that. My assumption is folks get jealous because they aren't finding anything themselves.

Elton hit the nail on the head. Bryce had NEVER failed to help anyone on here. Even the simple questions I've emailed him, he took time to get back to me on. He is unselfish, and honest. Bryce does 100 % of every post on here to help others. He has mastered it, and his finds should never be questioned. This man shares his settings, coil field test reports, and finds with us (especially the personal one he wears around his neck), and I am sure thankful he is here. I know I speak for 99.9% of the good folks on here. I'm glad they're kicking the few bad ones off.

Why in the world would anyone think that Bryce of all people would stage a picture? What earthly benefit would it be for him to do so? Hasn't most of all of us dug a coin still in the clod, I have and I have only been doing this for a little over a year. Look at my video Hunting With Bell-Two #19 for an example of Goes4ever finding a silver coin still in the clod and it turned out to be a seated dime at that.

So it is not that unusual to find them still in the clod. I do not know Bryce personally but he has been helpful to me and I know to others. Why do people make such claims, is it out of jealousy or resentment, only they would know why. I have taken many a picture of my and my friends finds still in the plug or sometimes in the clod, and now more than likely I record them on video some of them full digs. I think if you are going to make such claims as such pictures "being staged" then you better have proof or better just shut up! :ranting:

What can I say that really hasn't already been said about Bryce? To me is the an example of the type of "detectorist" I want to be:

1. Loves Learning His Machine
2. Loves Helping Others Learn Their Machine
3. Loves Seeing and Congratulating Other Peoples' Finds
4. Loves Sharing His Finds.

Personally I want to thank you Bryce for being this example.

This is one video I really enjoyed... Bell, your commentary as you both are digging and finding your finds is really good. I'll be going to Belding, Michigan in the Spring, and maybe I can stop by you in Ohio which is on the way and do a little hunting... God Bless and good luck in 2011, I'll add my two cents here, and everyone has hit the nail on the head... Why... Why... people are like they are.... Well, that's what makes the world go round, you need all types, and they will all be left in shame, because when people begin throwing rocks, they'll get hit with boulders... LOL. I'm going to post my finds for the last ten years, and like Bryce, I have been featured in the New York Daily News twice, and have been interviewed by a few mags that have nothing to do with metal detecting... Well, congrats on your first Barbie...

I did a chicken dance for a while when I found my first barbie quarter with a full Liberty near mint condition... Just love them... God bless...

This is almost how it came out of the rich brown soil I was hunting on... very few rocks or roots... in a very old section of a park where the British has marched up to battle... Dug a couple of 1700's large cents and a 1840 Coronet Large Cent, between two rocks. What the heck... here she is...

I would just like to add that I am thankful for having access to Bryce's posts, they are very well written and full of useful information. He has always responded to my questions in an honest and prompt manner and if he was being paid a high salary for his position he would be earning it. I don't feel that his integrity needs to be quantified but I don't feel like I can sit by and say nothing either. I pride myself in being a pretty good study of human nature and have never detected a hint of arrogance or deceit in anything he has written. Thanks for being here Bryce.

I respect and always look for new posts from Bryce .

Keep the faith keep looking up and have a great year in all your hunts!

Bryce, I appreciate what you're doing on this forum! Your posts are always informative and helpful! Keep up the good work and thanks for everything!

WOW, great responses!----What more can I say?----You don't have to explain ANYTHING Bryce.---Your honesty & integrity is indeed above reproach.---We all know you are in this ENTIRELY for your love of the hobby & with no "hidden agenda".----Bryce & I have "visited" (via P.M.'s) over the years & he has responded (answered) EVERY P.M. I've ever sent him (as he will for anyone).----He does this & MUCH MORE for one reason & one reason only----his love & interest in this great hobby.-----People perhaps have a tendency to forget how much time & energy is involved in all that Bryce does---I couldn't "handle it".-----Thanks for being a good friend Bryce!------------Del

I to want to thank Bryce as we are very much alike in our passions of the gym and metal detecting and I have found these posts from all you guys and your great videos first time attempts or whatever great to watch and learn from. I really thank Bryce for the great magazine articles he has taken his time out to do and write on those coil tests and on here about his near and dear mother and father and even his daughter and girlfriend and new friend Dave whom he cot into detecting too. The man has a big heart of gold under that tough exterior and goes out of his way to help anyone out there in anyway he can.

DON'T DIS THE MAN!! He could just as easily have kept everything he knows and learned about these machines and metal detecting to himself and said to hell with all of us but he didn't, that speaks volunes.

Character is what you do when no one is watching you!! Bryce has it all in spades. God bless you and your family and frienda Bryce and I hope to meet up with you and Dave for some digs someday if I get out that way and some Pizza after too!!
