In trouble again lol

I have had cops stop many times to see what i was doing, and never did they think my Lesche was a weapon.
I think that cop was having a bad day or something.

Now the only thing you have to think about is this. What do you think the Police Man is going to think that is if you happen to turn around with that Long tool in hand. I would think that it would be less safe to take that with since the Officer could mistake it for a Shotgun. Don't want to see something bad happen since I already think the Officer is a Trigger Happy kinda guy. Good Luck and HH.

You forgot about the Tazer that you or your buddy would have to use twice!:crylol: I love it! I just wish I would have thought about it that way and posted it. You crack me up! :starwars::help::stretcher::super:

Seriously though, a person should always check with Park Rangers or Parks and Rec. on sites that are State Parks or National Parks. If you ever go into a Park like that (and lets not forget Historical Area's also), You can have your detector taken, vehicle taken, thrown in jail and get a hefty fine. I really don't know why these rules are set the way they are since every year that passes the coins and artifacts deteriorate even more and soon the history that is in the ground will no longer be discernible of what it was or how old it might have been. Just hate the thought about all that old Silver and Relics in those old State Parks and such. Hope you have better luck and meet friendlier people. Good Luck and HH.

Go to this link and see what these SOB's did to this poor kid with a tazer over and over and over again:

The reporter clearly states that the video begins after he was already tazed once. What took place before the video begins? Did the subject become violent? Was he advised he was going to be arrested? Did he resist when he was advised he was going to be arrested. Perhaps if there was a complete video, an assessment of whether or not there was excessive force could be made, however there is not enough video to make that determination. It is my experience, that the police officers I have encountered are professional and respectful. When they are treated the same way there are not going to be problems. It is a little short sighted to make such a judgement without complete facts. Perhaps there was excessive force... Perhaps there was not... We are not in a position to judge based solely on this poor quality recording. And when it comes to detecting, an encounter with the police that is based on respect and compliance with the law, should turn out just fine. Lets be realistic, our actions should be appropriate to the time and place we are hunting. A nice public park may not be the place for a large aggressive looking digging tool. It may certainly attract negative attention, and as much as we understand what it's purpose is, others may not. Common sense should be our guide, and thereby we minimize our risk of a negative encounter.

Tazing a kid four or more times is excessive.

I doubt that superman could have made any serious resist after the first tazing.

I have the fortune of having some cops for friends and they don't beat up people even if they are mouthed at. They show restraint and give proper restraint. They don't beat up people like Rodney King or the poor black retired teacher down in New Orleans who was interupted while asking something of another police officer. All he did was tell that policeman that that was rude to interrupt. About 10 police officers beat the bloody crap out of that poor man. I suppose you think that is just fine too. I can go on and on. These cops are not above the law.
