Infinium coil question

Guest
I hunt the northeast salt water beaches with the infinium, I have both 10 x 14 coils, my question is which coil would be better at finding smaller targets the mono or DD? Any info would be great thanks Moe.

Hello Moe,
I own the Infinium and several of Eric's pi's, All of them do well.
As long as your Infinium can handle the tough wet sand or ocean surf when using the mono coil then this would be the better coil for smaller targets, The DD comes into play when you need to hunt with better stabity or more coverage.
Also, Your Infinium may need the upgrades with using the mono coil when searching wet sand or surf, Inland hunting will be fine without the upgrades but needs to be done when searching the surf.

thanks Paul, I did have the upgrade and the unit works well in the surf with the mono coil so I will probably use the mono as my first choice. thanks Moe
