Infinum L/S Advice

I have been looking at as many forums as I can, trying to find nonbiased information on the infinums capabilities. I live in Miami, Florida. There isn't much in the way old historic sites to speak of, so beach hunting is my best option. There are so many waterproof PI detector made that cost less than the Infinum, but are they the infinums equal.

thanks everyone I've taking all your advice and reserching it. I like the goldquest ss but it doesn't seem to be waterproof. the infinum is waterproof down to 200 feet. Iam still reading around for the right unit that combines performance and price.

You might check with Joe, who works for Kevin Reilly at Reillys Treasured Gold. He bought a Infinium, and it wouldnt work in the water in south FL. That was with the large coil. I believe they have come out with a 8" coil now, and that might eliminate the problems they had before. Also, you can buy a waterproofed Goldquest from Surfscanner.

I live in ST AUG, FL.south FL is full of ship recks and land treasure.the infinum is a go any-where detector.you can also go to north GA, Look for nugets on land and water. If you can afford it get the Garrett.purchase it at a local dealer, check it out first.

Thanks to all of you who gave their advice. after doing some more reading and lookind around I've decited to buy a Headhunter pulse. I'm hoping its a good choice. I suppose only time will tell.

Hello Ismael!I live in S.FL.I had the Infinum.I also found it is not a S. FL machine.Lucky I got my $ back from Garrett.I work for Reilly's Treasured Gold in Pompano. My main machine is a Minelab Excalibur but have used many machines.I do not know about the Eric Foster machines but I have used most name brand machine. My PI choice would be the Garrett Mark II or the new White's PI.The new White's is hot and good on small gold.I like the Garrett because it has a very smooth threshold.Just my opion,Joe
