Hi all,
I am waiting for a used garrett xl 500 pi to arrive in the mail and was wondering if anybody has some experiance with one and what the tips and tricks would be?

it is very good for wreck diving and larger coin size objects at the minimum.
 
hope battery pack is good! Chargable Ni-cad, may have to be replaced professionally, a little expensive! if is old would check seals good before going deep,if you dive and best to replace seals unless already done.
 
again lol is not a beach machine, hope you didn't buy for that.
 
was going to use it on freshwater beaches for recent drops..
