Installing a light on the Whites XL Pro question

Hey folks. Just wondering if any of you out there installed any sort of lights, leds, etc on your meter??? I'm swinging a Whites XL Pro, and sadly it doesn't have a backlight of any sort, probably due to the analog meter. Trying to find the best method for installing some sort of light so I can do some night hunting....especially with these short days. Any help would be appareciated. ...which is basically the same thing. I got two micro lights (a little smaller than a xmas tree light)and put them inside the meter face at the bottom with one on each side of the meter. I put a micro toggle switch on the left had side under the meter casing. The electrical came straight off of the battery. This set up worked perfectly . Oh, one more thing. I painted the bottom strip of the meter lense black. I could show all of this better than I can describe it to you but I hope you get the idea. All the materials are available at your local Radio Shack. Good Luck!

Thanks for the replies guys! <img src="/metal/html/smile.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=""> I was figuring leds would be the best way to go...but I'm just not sure how to go about getting the power to them.
