Interesting day I must say:minelab:

Found a Half Farthing and didn't check it out for a date but I knew it was in good condition. Put it in a safe place along with these two finds and at about 1:pM met up with some new friends to hit a field. I went to show what I had found and the 1/2 Farthing was gone. Best find of the day and lost it.
But one of the new friends found his first Large cent today. So that makes up for my loss. As I can remember my first Large cent and I bet he won't lose that. Congratulations were in order.
Rexall token and Mass copper are my Booty for the day. And a sick Mass copper indeed.

Sorry about your half farthing, when you go to look for it, remember, it is probably half as farth away then you think. Is that a swastika on that druggist coin? I blew up your post but I couldn't quite read what it said. Cool finds, those odd coins and tokens are just really neat to find, I found a pewter golf tee in the shape of a naked gifted woman the other day, love those repeatable solid signals, regardless of where they land.:yikes:

To tell you the truth the Farthing was only about 2" deep and on top of it were a clad nickeland 3 zinc pennies. Thats digging repeatable signals. If they fall in the top right quarter of the screen I digum and its paid off more than you know.

I know better cause I lost a coin early this year because I put it in my shirt pocket. This time I put it in my back pocket with my Handkerchief. Not a smart thing to do with the chilly weather we had today.

Greetings NH Bob, Nice finds any way. You should be able to find that Farthing fairy quick. It is on the top and will sound off like a fire truck. Good luck. Happy Hunting Grounds,

Savage
