Interesting find today!

Finally got up the nerves and asked a homeowner for permission! Got a ok to dig his old farm house and adjacent barn. This was Friday, so today I went to his place with my buddy in tow and the owner wasn't home. His only stipulation was for him to be home while we dig. Bummer, strike 1. What to do now, hit up our friends place who lives in one of the oldest houses in town. Been wanting to hit this house for years, not home, strike 2! Finally decided on a old lot across town, on our way we passed a old house I've dug months ago and they tore down garage and pulled driveway up. Buddy got nails, and I pulled 2 wheats, 44,45. Then dug old clock key? Last and coolest find was this 100+ yr old baggage tag from the Chicago, Milwaukee, and St. Paul railway. I included a info pic I found on Google. I really like tags and pins, so I'm stoked on this one!

WOW! That's a cool tag alright! Congratulations on that and a good hunt :clapping:

(I'm still trying to find out something about those ones I found and will let you know when I do)..
Mud

Congratulations on that find. It surprises me how much stuff I miss the first time I go over a piece of property.
