Interesting find

Hit a local area couple days ago and mostly clad. Did manage this spoon, which had me so excited when I saw it at first glance. #1 on bucket list, I figured was getting a big line through it. Well it's plated and I've dug a few that were wiped clean of it's plating. It was quite deep and the lip of the spoon is eroded. Marked 1847 rogers bros rememberance. Obviously that's there origin date but WOW this must be thick silver on the spoon. Yesterday hit a vacant lot downtown. Quick hunt, first coin was a 1914 wheat. Sweet find and love getting dates that far back. Anything from 30s down is what I love. Couple clad followed, the another wheat, 1945. Last but not least was this weird medal, or piece of jewelry I got which was close to the 1914 wheat. Couldn't make it out til I got home and cleaned it up. On both sides it the same design. The word philippines, then a rising sun under the word, and below that is 2 roosters fighting. No internet search pulls up what this could be but my guess is something to do with the huge cock fighting past from there. Would love to know what and where this came from and it's history! Looks to have been guilded but long gone. Just a hint of gold left. Love this hobby.

What was the mint mark on the 1914 wheat? 1914D is a really hard to find key date. 14s isn't bad either. Let us know!

Just a philly. Once I saw the date I crossed my fingers and took a closer look but nothing. Still happy for the pick up though. Could've been a stinkin zincoln
