Interesting Reading about a possible unknown shipwreck here in the states

They think it is the first colony that setteled in Delaware. A whaling colony that consisted of about 20 some settelers. The settelers where killed about a year later by native americans. The settelment has never actually been located.
There was a dredging crew pumping sand onto the beach recently and the authorities think they are the ones who actually tapped into the lost colony. The beach is littered with pottery shards and broken glass that archeologist have said date from the colonial period.
The beach has been closed and authorities are asking beachcombers who have found artifacts to bring them in for "review and catalogging".
