Interesting result using the high frequency coil.

I've been play around with the Terra over the last week and have noticed that when I use the 5x10 DD high frequency coil, the Target ID and Depth reading seem to be the most stable by far. I had to targets stability turned off as I found it to be of no benefit. As I only have this one high frequency coil, I'd be interested to know if you have found the same outcome with any of the other high frequency coils, including the concentric coil?
As another interesting aside, while hunting in the 99 tones setting, the audio seem to sound like an Explorer of sorts. Going over a number of targets that were not flat, I seemed to be able to hear an unevenness of the tone to a certain amount. While not as expressive as an Explorer, it was noticeable. Perhaps we can call it, an Explorer-Light.

I'm thinking it's because it's a DD coil, not because of the frequency. That is what I noticed when I only had the 9" concentric 7.5 kHz coil to compare it too. Since I now have both the 6" DD HF and the 10" DD MF coil, I find this "stability" inherent to the DD's in my area where I typically GB at 17-19. That's just my guess based on my experiences here. :)
