Ran a test with one of my field test items - a six inch, three eights-inch diameter, rusty nail bent ninety degrees at the end. Laid it and a quarter down next to each other. In all modes except zero the 350 belltoned on the quarter and was silent on the nail. Switching to zero mode it had no problem isolating and ID'ing the two targets and belltoned on the quarter and booped on the nail. As long as the distance between the two targets is wider than the width of the tip of the signal it will easily isolate the two. Even if you lay them an inch apart the 350 in zero will still isolate them. So this is good to know when hunting in iron infested areas.

One of many reasons I love double D search coils. Great target seperation!
Signal is like a knife edge goin' into the ground.
Happy Hunting!
I also am amazed how slow you can swing and still get a hit, Maybe swing is not a good word, Move the coil over the target VERY SLOW would be more like it. Nope thats not it either, Barely move the coil over the target would be more like it
