Wanted to know how its working in the nails and how hot is it on brass and lead.
Thanks Rick in KY

Rick, I have been testing it in a couple different campsites. So far it has done very well. I have dug mini's with it a 9" in the mineralized soil we have here. Not to say it won't go deeper, just haven't walked across anything deeper yet. They fall in right under the penny icon.
Brass falls into the same category as well. The square nails won't give you any trouble if you work the relic mode, once in a while, a deep one will try and fool you but you will know after you get to know the machine. All other iron trash you will not hear, except for large iron.
Great Detector for the money, and easy to use.
Hope this helps.

Sounds like it would make a good all around detector, never used a Garrett, might have to take a hard look at this one.
Thanks Again Rick in KY
