Is Fisher coming out with a new unit?

Tom E IL

New member
The way some people say things it sounds like theres something coming out.I email Fisher and ask they and they said no,like they would say anything.I still think if they would put the 3D and C$ into one there would be a unit to have.I get mad at my C$,then it calls my name and I will go back to it.Its the same with the 3D.Then when I take Nancys ID Excell out (dont tell her) samething.I love all three, and hate all three.Dont get me wrong I will always own Fisher units,I think they are the best units I ever owned. Each one has its place thats why they make them so you have a choice. They could built one thats work great everwhere and I would still try this one or that one just to see what I am missing.
Thanks to everyone that post,I cant wait to see whats on the forum. If I ever get where I can post pics,I would like everyone see what I have found this year.
I was out on my land with Nancy two weeks ago in the woods then I found ground bees with my coil,I went running past Nancy and out to the field,I'm glad theres nothing on tape,I was like a little kid running from a snake.I found a snake last year and that was no big deal, the bees you can have.
Thanks
Tom

Seems like new units just are on the scene without any pre announcement..and your guess is as good as mine...Do remember some of them are years in the making and testing so usually a long process in most cases..As far as those bees(yellowjackets in the ground) my brother almost died after he received many..many bites and his body started to swell..As far as snakes I go my way and let them go theirs...Just some hazards of the hobby( by the way everyone up on their Tetanus shots) as a rusty cut can cause problems...

Not much, but maybe Tom Dankowski can tell us a few more details.

I know that Tom was at a big hunt in Florida recently and gave a seminar on a new machine he's been working on. He had one with him and he called it the AU 21X. From all reports, it was pretty amazing. It purports to knock out 21 times (thus the 21X) the trash of current units. The price was said to be $1400 and Tom would make you one on special order while he waits for Fisher to approve it. That's all I know about it, but I do know that this is true because my sister was there and I got this from her. And I would suppose it's no secret, as he spoke freely about it. I guess what will remain to be seen is if it actually goes to production as a Fisher unit, and what the final cost and specific capabilities are. But it sounds pretty likely to happen.

Great Southern beach Shootout and I never saw a new unit. He did demos of the CZ3d, C$, CZ5 & CZ70. He did speak very breifly about a new unit that he was working on, but I didn't see any other machine, he was supposed to knock out a lot of trashy targets though. But, Tom gave several demos while at the hunt, I only attended one so I could have missed it, or been doing my usual, sleeping in class!

Well, it was the Great Southern beach Shootout and I wasn't there...that's for sure. But my sister said that when he offered that he would build one for anybody for $1400, one guy said "I want THAT ONE" and wouldn't give up until he sold it to him. So maybe that's a little GSBS folklore but that was the report. Maybe Mr. Dankowski can enlighten us? He's probably way too busy with the shuttle to be checking in here right now though...
