Hi guys how are you?
I have a 2200d. Is it possible to create an id meter for it?
Is there any way we can do it.
Thanks
Joe

I too asked this question about Pulse detectors. Would using the Periscope with a Pulse detector give you what we're looking for? More depth and ID capabilities. Thanks.

Minelab would be the only ones to answer your questions. They are the only people with circuit diagrams and component details and they protect their designs by removing or covering up all components and their type numbers. It would require a very clever cookie to reverse engineer their detectors and come up with what you want.

Steve,
My money is on more sensitive receiving circuits a la Detector Pro's Headhunter PI. The tiny transmitter in those headphones can't be putting out a whole hell of a lot of power yet the receiver can pick up a nickel at 15" give or take. Go figure. Bye the bye, Bill Southern and I are checking out the new mini UFO (17" X 10")from Coiltek as a good all around coil for depth and sensitivity. Will let you know. Regards, RD
