So I found this one a few weeks and was wondering if it was something special because im about to melt it.....Looks kind of odd, like some sort of pinky ring a mafia type would wear. I am about to kiss it.....goodbye. ARA will be seeing it soon.

Hi dude,
That is a crazy Ring! It looks like the type of thing a seal would be done with in wax on old letters, do you know what I mean? Hope it is dude, you'll be rich :)

My hunting partner found a 14k gold ring that has 5 small flat stones embedded around the band, it weighs 3.8 grams with the stones. It has maybe $100 in gold, the pawn shop said it looks like a custom made ring and offered him $230 which he refused anyway but just goes to show that a good looking ring will bring more than scrap value. Have it checked out and let us know what you have. Good luck. John

What Karat gold? If not, have you acid tested it?and does it have any maker's marks? You might try EBay. I know they will take 10% from the sale price BUT if there is a collector/s out there looking for unusual rings, you could get maybe double+ melt price? I would also say it is a wax seal ring. Anything unusual will get you more $. (I used to own 4 antiques stores so I speak from experience)!.
