IS KELLYCO THE BEST TO BUY FROM?

Davlin617

I'm going to be buying my first MD soon and it seems like Kellyco offers some good deals, Since I'm new to all this I was wondering if there is somewhere better to buy them from?

Give me a call and mention this forum. 800-898-6673

I purchased my Ace 250 from them and I got it fast and I'm very happy with it. I bought the sniper coil too and today I actually used it. Wow!!! that little disk is right on the ball. I'm glad I got that sucker. You wont be disappointed from them.

I never bought a detector from them but I have made 3 orders for coils, books, scoops, etc. Their service is excellent and they sponsor this forum, both plusses. One time there was a minor problem with an order I placed and they phoned me about an hour after I placed the order and fixed it immediately. They normally offer all kinds of cool freebies when you buy a detector from them and also free shipping. When I bought my 2500 I went with a store that was closer physically to me and received no free items but I did get my detector in one day (also free shipping) which is what I wanted. I already had a lot of the freebies they offered. If I had it all to do over I would be patient and go for all the cool goodies. When I bought they were giving books and a digging tool and a pouch and a dust cover and a whole mess more. In one of my orders they included a small free gift and to be honest with you I don't know what it was. It might have been a small book or a pouch or a coin. My memory stinks.

What are you planning on getting?

Chris

If KellyCo reads these posts your web site is usually kind of slow. That would be my only semi complaint.

I was considering getting the 250 deluxe sport package with the sniper coil and automax pinpointer. It comes to about $410. Like you said they include a bunch of freebies with it. They told me it's not the one for wet sand or in shallow water but overall it's a great MD. I figure if I make enough with the Ace I'll move up to a submersible unit. I'm new to this so I don't want to go to elaborate until I know if I enjoy it or not. I've always loved history and treasure so it seems like the perfect hobby for me. Time will tell I guess

I paid for my Ace 250 in about 6 weeks. I do a lot of detecting, though. In 3 1/2 months of use I found almost $700.00 with it and upgraded to a 2500. The 250 takes pratice so don't get frustrated with pinpointing early on. Use the standard or sniper coil to start and when you feel you are somewhat proficient try out the larger coil. I love my sniper coil for certain applications and some use it almost exclusively.

Ace 250 is fine in dry sand and there is a ton of loot to find above the water line.

Search the forum for Khouses pinpointing video and watch it at least twice.

The way I figure it, I'm in a job that allows me to travel all over the county where I work during the day and it's an oceanfront county near Tampa Bay, So that and the fact I'll have between 1 and 2 hrs a day to MD in parks and beaches means I should be able to find something. Coin popping is gonna be a little tricky I can tell, gonna due some dry testing over the weekend see if I can get the hang of it.

Excellent service for me. The reason I chose them was the free goodies plus I got a nice gator digging tool for an extra 10 bucks S&H. More for the money.

Just got an order in today from KellyCo. This is my 2nd order from them... no problems, fast shipping!

Their Automax is good, but it's a little touchy if you have it set at a high sensitivity. Mine goes off if I poke at the ground a little too hard.

Yeah Jack decided to sell through dealers only many years back. At one time he sold a "private label" detector through Kellyco. It was the Silver Sabre with a different name and color.

I bought some stuff from Kellyco last month, they were super fast!!! I would recommend them to everybody!!!!

I wade in shallow fresh water all the time. Found quiet a few rings. I own twelve detectors, the only one I use for wading is the Ace 250.....Jack

I have bought 7 detectors from Kellyco and no problems at all. If you don't want the free stuff that comes with it, they will make you a great deal on just the detector or the items of your choice. My last detector was $759 but I got the detector, headphones, and pinpointer for only for $679...don't be afraid to deal. More than pleased here.
