Is there a change going on? PI vs VHF

I notice that a lot of folks who use the Excalibur machines have now started using the White's Surf PI dual field machines in the wet sand and water. While I was in Florida last week, I noticed that there were more dual fields than normal on Siesta beach as before where Excaliburs were the rule.

I recently got a dual field for my time in Florida and plan on using it in the water with the Excalibur being used on the dry sand.

Is there a change of thought on using PI machines by detectorists?

Might just have something to do with it!!

GL&HH Friend,

There is no doubt CJ!

Seems all your photos of finds have been spiking sales of Surf Dual Fields. Seems almost everyone on the Excalibur discussion area have gotten a Dual Field lately. Me included. Are you sure you don't own stock or work for White's?
