IS THERE A DETECTOR AVAILABLE WITH DUEL CIRCUITS (P.I. +DISCRIMIATION CIRCUIT) *N/T*

Hi George,
As far as I know there really isn't a PI that discriminates well. There are some European versions that do make some claim but I do not know anything about them.
Most PI's that have a delay control can do a poor job of discriminating iron objects. It certainly isn't foolproof but it is better than nothing. Actually, this type of discrimination is called reverse discrimination because when you turn the delay up, gold objects are no longer detected and iron objects are. So, if the object disappears, then there is a possibility it is gold.
Hopefully, there will be something out in the future, but I would not expect it to discriminate as well as a VLF.

Hi Reg,
What about the Pulse Devel. Is that rumored to be a PI with discrimination that works? Mr. Bill should know soon.
