Is there a Doctor in the house ..........

General Ray

Was taking the trash out the side door on Friday and I was bare footed accept for socks and I stepped on something on the top step ( probably a pebble ) then jumped and my left foot hit the third lower step and I think I either broke a bone or cracked a bone on the ball of my foot. It's swollen and purple. I can walk on it if I stay off of the ball, if it doesn't start to get better here in a few more days guess I'll have to have it checked out

I've broken many bones on my body over the years, broke my left arm while in high school and rebroke it 3 more times in the same month so my doctor had enough and put me in a upper body case for 9 months so I couldn't move it or break it again at the wild age of 16, I went from 117 to 165 when I wroke up in the hospital

I've broken finger's playing baseball, got pin's holding one of my ankles together, have what I believe are bone chips floating around my right elbow, man, I sure have been rough on my bones in my life

I still manage to get stuff done today with one good foot, cut my own hair as I always do, saved myself $12.00 there and the tip , use that savings to go to HomeDepot and get what I needed to replace my leaky double handle shower faucet and I'm only a renter here, the best renter I might add a landlord could ask for :)

See, I don't need no stinken hand out from Obama, if I can move then I will make it and take care of myself ;)

Here's a shot of the left foot, if ya look at the ball it is swollen like bubba's lower lip and if ya look at my big toe it is swollen like Elson's upper lip!

Put the swollen lips together and ya got ya a real redneck party

I'm no Doctor, but it looks to me like you damaged the structural tendon (s,) in that area...maybe a torn ligament (s)

Has the swelling gone down since Friday? Are you able at this time to put a little pressure on the ball of your foot?

Here's some pics and a link that might be helpful to you.

A visit to your Dr. will fix the problem....keep us posted on this

doctor when I can't walk again, it's just me, I just have to take care of myself first and try that first and if it doesn't work then I will get in line but I don't like getting in lines, that's my bad but who I am, I ain't friendly with numbers or a line, that's why I have broken bones in my life, once a reble, always a reble ;)
